Introducing Terry Carr as Managing Director    of Geoactive

Over the past several years, Derek has done an extraordinary job guiding Geoactive through one of the most significant transitions in our history. His leadership in establishing Geoactive as an independent business after exiting LR back in 2022 laid the foundations on which we stand today. I want to personally congratulate him on everything he has achieved, and I’m grateful for the platform he has built as he moves into his new role as Chief Growth & Innovation Officer.

As I step into the role of Managing Director, I’m energised by what comes next.

I’ve spent nearly 30 years in this industry, and around half of that with Geoactive. I’ve seen firsthand the expertise, commitment and pride that define this company. That’s why I believe so strongly in the opportunity ahead of us.

We are entering a new era for Geoactive; one focused on growth, built on the strengths that brought us here.

Our mission remains clear: to deliver the best subsurface analysis software on the market. We will continue to do this by being accountable, consistent and by holding ourselves to the high standards that our customers - and our industry - expect of us.

The future is exciting and I am looking forward to leading Geoactive in this next chapter.
