What You'll Learn

Be able to quickly import, QC and process cased hole log data within IP software.
Understand the workflows behind each of the four IP cased hole modules: Casing Inspection, Cement Evaluation, Pulsed Neutron (Sigma C/O) and Production Logging.
Gain hands-on experience applying these workflows to real-world well examples.
Be able to produce depth-by-depth interpretations and conclusions on casing and cement condition, downhole fluid saturation, and production or injection profiles.
Build the practical competency needed to take ownership of cased hole interpretations from raw data to conclusions.

Ross has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having studied Computer Science prior to starting his career. Working for a major service company for many years his technical expertise has focused on mature assets, specialising in cased hole data analysis, including casing and cement evaluation, production logging, and pulsed neutron reservoir analysis. Ross held roles across geoscience management, sales, and business development.

For the past 13 years Ross has worked for Geoactive Ltd as a cased‑hole domain expert for the Interactive Petrophysics (IP) software package. Ross has led the development of an industry leading suite of applications for mature wells inside the IP platform.
